枫叶学子们生活、学习在这样的校园,幸福感十足!

We are very excited to share our teaching contents with you. For the seventh week of this semester, our children have learned things as follows:

我们非常开心可以跟大家分享本周的教学内容。第七周,孩子们又学了什么呢?一起来看看吧。

 

Preschool(预科班):

Everybody Up Starter Unit 2: Let`s Play; Lesson 2-Toys

    Dear parents, this week our preschoolers learned transportation vocabulary from Lesson 2 of Unit 2.  They`ve memorized words as “train, boat, jet, and car”. Students practiced question structure “What is it? It`s a (train)”. Also, we read a story “Go, car, go” and learned a new song “What is it?” about vehicles.

In Phonics classes we focused on letters E, F, said the phonics chants and traced letters. Students completed their written assignments in their EU workbooks.

Please encourage children to read pages 14-15 of EU Starter, review their songs and chants on the weekend. Thank you!

EU Starter: Unit Two, Lesson Two, pp. 14-15  

亲爱的家长们,本周我们学习了第二单元第二课中的交通词汇,“火车、船、飞机和汽车”。学生们练习了句子“这是什么?”“这是一列(火车)”,阅读了一个故事“Go, car, Go”,并学了一首新歌“What is it?”。语音课上,我们重点学习的是字母“E”和“F”。我们唱了律动,并做了描写字母的练习,学生们完成了练习册上相关的书写作业。

请鼓励孩子们周末阅读EU Starter书上的14-15页,复习他们的歌曲和律动,谢谢!

Grade 1 (一年级):

Hello everyone. This week we read a story and worked on our phonics. We read the story "Six in a bed" in our Good English book (lesson 2) and we also learned how to put the story in the correct order by using the pictures. In phonics, we did the letter "f" and also the letter "g". We practiced how to write these letters and also how to read some words (fish, fox, fan, frog, goat, goose, gorilla and girl). For the weekend's homework, they received a paper with words on it which they have to read and record and also send the video on the WeChat group, or to me. This paper is in their English file. Have a wonderful weekend.

  Hello everyone, this week we read a story “ A Good Trick” from the Good English 1A. Students listened to the audio of the story, memorized new words, and practiced the pronunciation. Additionally, students got familiar with shapes as “triangle, circle, and a square” from the Kid`s Box Starter. They listened to Mask man`s story where they practiced counting stationery. This weekend students will read the story “ A Good Trick” and review pages 14-16 of KB Starter. Please send videos of students` reading “A Good Trick” story in the parents` group chat. Thank you

Hello everyone. This week We learned commands “open your book, close your book, stand up, sit down, look, listen, point” from the Kid`s Box Starter.

Dear parents, this week the second graders read a story “ It`s the Weather” from Good English 2A. In Kid`s Box One, we started a new unit 3, where we learned toys vocabulary as “doll, ball, computer, train, bike”. Students practiced a new sentence structure “My favorite toy is a (train).” Also, they learned a new chant about colors.

This weekend students will read their Good English story “It`s the Weather” and review pages 18-19 of Kid`s Box One. Please send me the videos of students` reading in the parents` group chat. Thank you!

Hello everyone. This week we read 2 stories in our Good English book (lesson 2 and lesson 3). We practiced how to rewrite a story and also how to put a story's pictures in the correct order. There are a few difficult words in these stories and they have to read them at home as well to practice these words. Please record it when they are reading, and send it on the WeChat group or to me.
