We are very excited to share our teaching contents with you. For the second week of this semester, our children have learned things as follows:

Preschool(预科班):

Everybody Up Starter

Unit 1: Art Class; Lesson 1-School Supplies

    Dear parents, this week preschoolers worked on Lesson 1 of Everybody Up Starter and learnt new vocabulary as “paper, glue, scissors, and paint”. They also completed writing activities in their workbooks, practiced a new sentence structure “I have (paper)” with various interactive games. Children enjoyed singing new songs as “Hello” and “Paper, Glue, Scissors, and Paint”.

I sincerely hope that this weekend students can review school supplies vocabulary and sentences from their textbook EU Starter.

亲爱的家长们,本周预科班学习了Everybody Up Starter书本的第一课,学习了“纸、胶水、剪刀和颜料”等新词汇。他们还完成了练习册上的写作练习。通过各种互动游戏练习了新的句子结构“I have (paper)”。孩子们喜欢唱所学的新歌,如“你好”和“纸、胶水、剪刀和颜料”。

Hello everyone, this week we practiced our phonics. We did the sounds of the letter a, b and c. We also learned new words such as apple, ant, alligator, axe, ball, balloon, bear, banana, cake, cap, cat and car. We also did worksheets where we practiced how to write these words.

Good English Reading

    Stories: 1.Who is it? 2. Six in a Bed.

    This week class 104 focused on Good English Reading book. Children read two new stories: “Who is it?” and “Six in a Bed”.  They got familiar with the characters of the stories as “ Dad, Mum, Chip, Kipper, Biff, and Floppy”. Also, they reviewed numbers from 1-10. Students learnt a new song “Ten little fingers”, which they especially enjoyed and want to sing in every class!

Additionally, we worked with new letters C and D. We spent some time to practice handwriting and learn new chants. I`ll send the audio in the parents` group chats.

Please encourage students to review their new stories at home.

Good English 1A: pp. 1-6.

Hello everyone, this week the second graders have started their new reader: Good English.

Students have finished reading a story “Monkey Tricks” and reviewed zoo animals vocabulary.

In Kid`s Box One children focused on colors` spelling and pronunciation. Also there was a lot of time spent on speaking with complete sentences using new sentence structures and pictures of the textbook.

Please remind children to review their new story “Monkey Tricks” and pages 6-8 of Kid`s Box One. Also they can practice tongue twister “Six Stars” to improve their pronunciation.

Hello everyone! This week we did Unit 2 of the Kid's box series. We talked about different school supplies (pencil, pen, book, eraser, chair and table) and also reviewed the ones we did in grade 1. We did the activities in our workbooks and also sang a song about the characters and how they are doing. We practiced how to ask "Who's that?" and how to answer it (She's/He's...).
